What is a Client Side Project Manager vs Project Manager?

Unlike a Project Manager that works for a builder, a client side project manager works for the Principal,  the Principal being the health professional or the entity looking to deliver a project.

As a result, a client side project manager can be engaged in the planning stage.  

For example, we work with a variety of health organisations and private customers to help with project planning at the business case stage. The business case stage is all about knowing time, cost, and quality at a high level, but in as much detail as possible, to comprehend the project's feasibility at those early stages.

As the project progresses, a client side project manager will also work with the Principal to develop a design brief which is used to engage a lead design consultant. The lead design consultant will produce drawings from concept and statutory approval, through to the development of contractual documentation that can then be tendered to the market.

When the build starts onsite, the client side project manager is the Principals only point of contact, alleviating them from dealing with multiple stakeholders.

In essence, the client side model delivers quality results, significant savings and peace of mind to our clients, because they know that their project is in expert hands.
